"Taking some of the 'mechanical' sounds from the recording, sampled, tweaked, stretched, repeated, phased, gated, filtered and panned to form a rhythmic atmospheric backdrop with other elements being placed as highlights and counterpoints.

On top of which were placed whole segments of the underground life lyric with an electronic music accompaniment, reflecting the clockwork, repetitive, cyclic nature of a living, pulsing mass transit system."
