Soft Arabian Morning

"I kept large parts of the field recording intact with no manipulation but I also ran a channel of the recording through the piece with some EQing and reverb. The source sound is edited in places and the odd click and pop taken out. I added some minimal electronic / drone sounds to add an ambient layer but never wanted them to take over and so kept these quite low in large parts of the mix. As I played these added touches I looped little bits of the whole piece but kept it quite open ended and never rhythmic."
