Miraculous Escape: Girl Survives Dry Bite from Deadly Tiger Snake in Perth: Colleague Jeremy Zakis reports that an 11-year-old girl in Perth miraculously survived a tiger snake encounter while riding her scooter; although the snake, whose venom can kill 200 humans and clot blood within 30 minutes, bit her leg, she received a rare "dry bite" where no venom was injected, and while younger victims generally have higher survival rates due to fitness, this escape was pure luck, with a new app by CSL Seqirus now assisting Australians in managing snakebites by guiding emergency responses.
