Newcastle's controversial plans to install an all-weather track at the course have been put on hold, at least for a year, as the BHA refused to grant an exemption from the rules of floodlit meetings.
William Hill Radio's 'Lord' John Budden offers his thoughts on the matter and some of the other stories in the news, joining Mark Walton in the studio.
The pair then turn their attention to Thursday's action and Lord Budden offers a selection at each of the three afternoon meetings.
