Track Laying Underway On Borders Railway

Transport officials marked the official launch of the track laying phase of the Borders Railway on Thursday morning. Eighteenth months on from the cutting of the first sod, Keith Brown and Chief Executive Network Rail, Mark Carne returned to Shawfair Station, just outside Edinburgh, to see the laying of the track on the rails.
