Patricia Hill Collins, professor of sociology at the University of Maryland, was at the University to Alabama to promote her talk on anti-racist education in “Sharpening Intersectionality’s Critical Edge: Implications for Education”. She talked about the situation in Ferguson, MO and also about what segregation in the UA greek system means for race relations in America.
