Is enough being done to attract inward investment to Wales, or is the focus on regaining past glories distracting from confronting the fact that the model is broken? On October 23rd 2014 the IWA held a debate to test the arguments. Chaired by Dr Elizabeth Haywood, - former Chair of the WG City Regions Task & Finish Group, the panel consisted of Dr. James Medway - Senior Economist, New Economics Foundation, Prof. Dave Adamson - former CEO, Centre for Regeneration Excellence Wales (CREW), Prof. Max Munday, Director, Welsh Economy Research Unit, Cardiff University and Chris Sutton, Chairman, CBI Wales.
