Flooding chaos across N Ireland. Can the authorities do more or is this now just part of life?
Flooding chaos across many parts of Northern Ireland yesterday. A number of roads across the country remain closed following heavy rain. The worst flooding was in Counties Armagh and Down, with Newry particularly badly affected. Police described Newry as "impassable" on yesterday evening, with parts of Bridge Street under two to three feet of water. Shalen Strain owns a clothes shop in Bridge Street in Newry.
