Remote Aboriginal Communities in Western Australia’s Kimberley region have announced a global call to action to stop the forced closure of Aboriginal communities which are causing people to leave their homelands due to state and federal governments withdrawal of support of basic essential services.
People all over Australia have been show their support for those that have been effected by the proposals to shut down 150 remote Aboriginal in Western Australia and Thursday the 19th of March across the nation will be celebrating close the gap day, yet for many people they feel the gap has significantly widened.
