Feb 25, 2015, 02:27 PM

Today’s guest is an entrepreneur that founded a great company that is not solely focused on growth. The software he built is called Sifter, an extremely popular bug and issue tracking application for companies that develop software. It went live on December 4th, 2008 and became my full-time endeavour in July of 2010. He launched Sifter by building up an email list of about 1,000 people by blogging about bug tracking and other development-related topics. Build the audience and then the product. He is also the author of Starting + Sustaining, a practical guide for building and maintaining your own web businesses. Now, let’s hack… Garrett Dimon.

What you will learn in this episode:

Being willing to think long term Why Garrett’s strength is not having a strength Taking advantage of the flexibility to be able to work where and when you want The only thing that Garrett would change if he was starting over
