The Social Network Show welcomes back Dr. Elizabeth Englander to the August 29, 2014 episode.

Dr. Elizabeth Englander, a professor of psychology and the director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center talks about some disturbing online trends that kids have to deal with, specifically sexual harassment. Dr. Englander, who informs us that there is very little research on this issue, talks about the research that she did on sexting among youth. Hear the reasons why kids send naked photos of themselves to other people; hear why kids are pressuring their peers to participate in sexting; hear why some kids give into this and some don't; hear about the outcomes of sexting; and finally, hear what you can do to help your teens with this issue.

Elizabeth Kandel Englander is a professor of psychology and the founder and director of the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center at Bridgewater State University, which delivers anti-violence and anti-bullying programs, resources, and research for the state of Massachusetts.
