Reading Stories, Developing Values versus Online Aggression?

The Social Network Show welcomes Nina Burleigh and Dr. Maria Tatar to the show. Nina Burleigh is an investigative journalist, author and adjunct professor at Columbia University. She returns to the show to talk about the verdict on the Amanda Knox trial that was announced on January 30, 2014. Nina, a returning guest to the show has been talking about how the trial has been played out on social media. Dr. Maria Tatar is a Harvard Professor of folklore, children's literature, and German cultural studies and has written many books. She is a new guest to the show and will be talking about the importance of reading to young children and how this builds empathy, values, curiosity and Dr. J relates this to online aggression which has been connected with lack of empathy.
