Counter protesters support refugees housed in Monkton

Hundreds of people braved the cold to show their support for refugees being housed in a South Ayrshire village.

They were part of a counter demo protesting against the Scottish Defence Leagues presence in Monkton. The right wing group claims some locals were upset about the refugees claiming asylum in the area.
