Health Minister Simon Hamilton has signaled he may be ready to end Northern Ireland's lifetime ban on gay men donating blood. He says if a government advisory group says it is safe, then the position will change. The rest of the UK relaxed the restrictions to a one year ban in 2011 Two previous DUP health ministers Edwin Poots and Jim Wells upheld the lifetime ban.
