State Services for the Blind and Minneapolis Community and Technical College are pleased to open registration for our April 30th career expo.
Register at http://goo.gl/forms/GrshounE2C for this free event. Adults who are blind, low vision, and DeafBlind from a variety of jobs and careers will showcase the variety of career paths they have taken, and they will be available to talk with high school and college students on an individual basis. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with role models and set high expectations for the future. Optional sessions about college life, career exploration, and parenting concerns will also be offered. The expo is free and includes lunch.
Join us on Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on the 3rd floor of the library at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. MCTC is located at 1501 Hennepin Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55403.
If you have any questions about the expo or have difficulty registering, contact Sheila Koenig at Sheila.koenig@state.mn.us
