MPs are coming under growing pressure to publish their tax returns after David Cameron made history by revealing details of his income.

Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell, Labour's leader and shadow chancellor, want to force MPs to reveal their income while serving in Parliament.

But should it stop there? Should other people in public life do the same? Should civil servants, company bosses or even BBC employees have to reveal their tax returns? Economist Richard Murphy and GEORGE PARKER is the political editor of the Financial Times.
