Thugs with guns on our streets once again - are we letting them rule the roost?

A man is critically ill after being shot in both legs in Derry. The attack took place in the Creggan area of the city about 9 o'clock last night. Police have appealed for information. The PSNI is also investigating the murder of taxi driver Michael McGibbon in North Belfast on Friday night. The 33-year-old taxi driver man died after being shot in the legs in an alleyway. Just think about this. This is the new Northern Ireland. And thugs with guns are still killing and maiming people on our streets. Still dispensing their sick and twisted idea of justice. Superintendent Mark McEwan said it was a barbaric attack that bears all the hallmarks of a paramilitary attack, and that the focus of the inquiry would be on violent dissident republicans.
