Theater works of Northern Nevada
To kick off our show today we spoke with the Director of TWNN’s upcoming production of “To Kill A Mockingbird”, Dave Zybert. Dave shared some things that he’s doing differently with his production, why it’s so exciting, and why it’s such a timeless show to put on. He also shared the mission and vision of TWNN, the programs they produce, and how you can get involved.
In the second part of the show we met with the Producer and Music Director for Reno Sculpture Fest, Aric Shapiro and Steve Emmerich, respectively. We talk about how and why RSF started, and how and why it’s quickly become a massive success in Reno. They also shared how they’re upping the ante for this spring’s festival, talked about their amazing new sponsors and acts they’re bringing in, and how you can get involved.
Excited to announce the 2nd-annual Reno Sculpture Fest located on the Downtown Reno Retrak from May 6th through 8th, 2016.
Thanks to contributions from various city and art institutions, the experience is again FREE to the public and features 30+ larger-than-life sculptures, live muralists, kids activities, live music, late-night after-parties, vendors gardens, wellness features, food trucks, and a variety of hands-on activities for both adults and kids.
