Sheds half his body weight – now waiting for life-changing surgery

Now a story of a local man who once topped the scales weighing 43st. Michael Hill got to the stage where he found it difficult to even walk, and suffered various problems including sleep apnoea. After being offered a gastric bypass, but only if he lost 6 stone, he decided he was going to do it himself - and to date has lost almost half his body weight, but now has been left with the problem of excess skin, around 3 stones worth.
