We have been thinking about potholes completely incorrectly!

"Athithi Devo Bhava," is what we often claim but we don't treat potholes with the same deference now, do we?

Potholes are, IMHO, guests who visit our city every monsoon. They even write letters on our roads (albeit, in a 'cracked' language) to inform us of their impending arrival. Isn't it our fault that we so royally ignore their letters?
