Pacific Southwest top Maryland State Champ behind Jameson Hussey's 2 hits, 4-1.

Jameson Hussey hit two home runs to carry Pacific Southwest to a 4-1 win over Maryland State Champ at Cal Sr. Yard in six innings.

Jack Snyder had a hot bat for Maryland State Champ. Snyder went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Kamaehu Sanchez got the win in relief for Pacific Southwest. Sanchez pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed one run.

Pacific Southwest was sparked by Hussey and Kaden Stremick, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.

Snyder was charged with the loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

Pacific Southwest never trailed after scoring two runs in the fourth on a two-run home run by Hussey.

Maryland State Champ scored its only run of the game on a solo home run by Snyder in the fourth inning.
