Simeon Howard had two extra base hits, helping Pacific Northwest to a 7-3 victory over Harford County on Wednesday at Cal Sr. Yard.

Connor Mendez had an impressive outing against Harford County's lineup. Harford County managed just two hits off of the Pacific Northwest's pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked four and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Parker McIlhenney couldn't get it done on the bump for Harford County, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

Pacific Northwest never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring one run on an RBI double by Howard.

After posting three runs in the fourth, Pacific Northwest again scored three in the fifth. In the fourth, Pacific Northwest scored on an error, scoring Mendez. Ben Johnson's single got things going, plating Trevor Ridley and Howard. That was followed up by Cash Hailey's single, plating Johnson.

After pushing across three runs in the top of the sixth, Harford County faced just a 7-3 deficit. An RBI double by Ryan Miller and a two-run single by McIlhenney sparked Harford County's rally. Finally, Howard got Matthew Archibald to strike out to end the game.
