8/4/16: Harford County vs Pacific SW: US Semi-Final

Pacific Southwest jumped out to an early lead on Harford County and captured a 13-3 victory on Thursday at Cal Sr. Yard.

Ten runs in the first three innings allowed Pacific Southwest to put the game away early.

Pacific Southwest scored eight runs in the first inning to build an early lead. Sanchez racked up three RBIs on one hit for Pacific Southwest.

Hussey recorded the win for Pacific Southwest. He allowed three runs over four innings. Hussey struck out two, walked one and gave up five hits. Brendan Purtell couldn't get it done on the bump for Harford County, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Harford County jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Harford County's threat began with a single by Purtell. A stolen base then moved Purtell from first to second. A few plays later, Purtell stole home. Harford County pushed more runs across when Kurek scored on an error.
