Make The Good One Turn (South Kensington)

South Kensington reimagined by Leanne Cunningham.

The piece was encouraged by my relations with The Smiths track “Please, Please, Please, Let Me Get What I Want”, featured within, as I hold personal memories and associations with it. It prompts memories of the winter period of 2013, as I purchased the CD in Manchester that year. As a result, this track reflects and emphasises those feelings of loneliness and also happiness through personal recordings. It commences with passing conversations, accompanied with the sounds of my lonesome walks and train rides, acknowledging my current relations with the city of London."
