Fears of another loyalist feud have been voiced after the murder of prominent loyalist figure John Boreland. He had been a leading UDA figure and was shot dead in north Belfast on Sunday night. Last October, a new Loyalist Communities Council was formed with the aim of bringing loyalism in from the cold. But with violence and criminality continuing are such initiatives doomed to failure?
