NYFW Spring 2017: Tanya Taylor
Designer Tanya Taylor has accomplished more than most 30 year-olds by a long shot. The Toronto native attended Parsons, interned at Elizabeth and James, then launched her namesake label in 2012. In the few years since she has managed to become a staple in Michelle Obama’s wardrobe, with stockings including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks and Nordstrom. Well-known for her use of vivid colors, hand painted prints and feminine shapes, this talented designer has made her mark, with much more to come. This season she played on her established theme, adding an ease to the look and feel of the collection’s clothes, hair, and makeup.
