Joel and Travis begin the show discussing the Presidential Debate and how bad the language was with locker room talk. They switch topics to the Texas Rangers losing this weekend and being eliminated from the playoffs, which is great for Houston fans. They discuss the Toronto Blue Jays performance against the Rangers. They transition to Edwin Encarnacion and how he might be a Houston Astro next season. They talk about the baseball playoffs and discuss the 0-2 teams as well as the Boston Red Sox outlook in the playoffs. They switch topics to the NFL and discuss the Houston Texans getting blown out by the Minnesota Vikings and how bad the playcalling, special teams and body language were in the game. Travis Johnson says they knew weren’t good enough to beat this team. Joel believes they haven’t gotten better since the New England Patriots game and that the coach can’t keep saying “Its on me” because the coach can’t play QB, Safety, Corner, etc…What five guys showed up and didn’t show up vs. the Vikings on Sunday? They discuss how the San Diego Chargers are finding new ways to lose and hopefully Texans don’t start losing like that.
