Joel and the guys begin the show discussing the Monday Night Football game between the Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Bucs and how awful it was. The Bucs kicker could not kick at all until the game winner, he was the best place kicker in college football and that’s why Bucs drafted him in the second round. You can’t say it was a bad pick but you have to have a veteran kicker when you’re trying to make the playoffs. They transition to the NFC and how crap it is and we wouldn’t have thought Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings would be good without QBs Tony Romo and Teddy Bridgewater. Everyone wants to see Houston Texans backup QB Tom Savage at center but you don’t want to see him under center because you don’t want him in primetime week in and week out and he hasn’t done anything yet. They ask who will be the next playcaller for the Texans after the Vikings loss because it was a terribly called game. Texans definitely got outcoached and can never beat good teams. Joel goes on to discuss the problems the Texans are having. The guys debate who is on the hot seat for the Texans out of Head Coach Bill O’ Brien or GM Rick Smith?
