Would you step in to stop a rat being attacked in the street?

Would you step in to save a RAT being kicked by someone in the street? That's what teenager Lace did recently in Belfast city centre. She was on her way to work and noticed a crowd gathered looking at something on the ground. Lace went to see what was going on and witnessed a man repeatedly kicking a large brown rat across the pavement on Royal Avenue. Lace, an animal lover and practicing vegan, stepped in to save the rodent and bring it to a vet.
