Glen Mazzara "The Walking Dead" Interview

Glen Mazzara is the executive producer of season two and, the currently in production, season 3 of AMC’s popular series, The Walking Dead. Glen was born in Manhatten and grew up in Queens. New York. He later earned a master degree in English while studying at NYU and then began to work as a hospital administrator. It wasn’t until 1998 that he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in writing. Before becoming the executive producer for The Walking Dead, Glen started as the story editor for season one of The Shield in 2002 and began producing in the following season leading up to the end of season 6. In addition to producing he wrote several episodes for the series Nash Bridges, The Shield, Hawthorne and has also written a handful of episodes for The Walking Dead.
