USU researcher finds local weather can sway belief in climate change

A study co-authored by Utah State University's Peter Howe found people are sometimes swayed in their acceptance of climate change by local weather. National Weather Service hydrologist Brian McInerney says it's important that people not confuse short-term weather with long-term climate trends.
