The Cougars defeat the Pioneers 35-16 at the Excel Energy Center to claim the 2017 Class A Championship. Brandon Ortman's win by Fall seals his spot on the Class A All Tournament Team, and the Pioneers get a Major Decision win from Sebastian Warzecha and wins by Jalen Jansen and Logan Lease as the Pioneers finish up as the 2017 Class A Silver Medalists with a record of 34-2.
