A report has launched a stinging attack on Stormont's record on the Irish language - saying it's been held hostage by sectarian politics. The Council of Europe report calls for the British government to encourage Stormont to introduce legislation for the language. It also says that the government could use their powers to bypass unionist opposition. The DUP have ruled out an Irish Language Act. So is direct rule now the best hope for Irish Language speakers?
