The Pioneers complete their doubleheader sweep of the Lakers with a 13-7 win as Brett Kapsner works into the 5th inning and gets the Win with relief help from Matt Kummet and Alec Lochner. Pierz had a 5-run bottom of the 4th and then erupted for 8 runs in the bottom of the 5th. Pioneers hitters took advantage of 13 walks issued by 3 different HLWW pitchers as Pierz improved to 5-0.
