The Pioneers continued to get great starting pitching, this time from Matt Tautges, as they defeated the Crusaders 7-2 on the turf at St. John's University. Tautges threw a complete-game 4-hitter with 9 strikeouts, mixing an electric fastball with devastating off-speed offerings. 3 Seniors led the offense with Lane Girtz, Matt Kummet and Brett Kapsner each collecting 2 hits.
