Belfast councillors last night backed proposals for an Irish language officer. The move was opposed by unionists - and supported by SF, the SDLP, Alliance and People Before Profit. The DUP have called for the city's ratepayers to oppose the move in consultation. The party's councillor Graham Craig called the Alliance Party 'Sinn Fein's lapdog' on twitter. Sinn Fein said the DUP's actions show the party continues to oppose equality and all things Irish. So is this a sign of things to come or any attempts to agree an Irish language act for NI? Stephen spoke to SDLP Cllr Tim Attwood and we took your calls.
