Irish police investigate @stephenfry over 'blasphemous' comments - where does this sit with free speech?

Police in the Republic of Ireland have launched an investigation after a viewer claimed comments made by Stephen Fry in an RTE TV interview were blasphemous. Officers are examining whether the British comedian committed a criminal offence under the Defamation Act over the comments he made in 2015.
