Ex - Army Chief of Staff tones down fears, says he is for peace
South Sudan's former top army official said he is for peace and is ready to go home and rest.
General Paul Malong, who served as the army chief of general staff for three years and one month, was removed from office in a presidential decree announced on national TV On Tuesday.
Gen Paul Malong spoke with our reporter Mageng Wade Deng on the line from Yirol, saying he is ready to go home and people should not be worried about his removal from office.
