According to the USDA, beef sales in the U.S. are highest during the week of July 4th. Summer is also the height of the grilling season. However, that can also mean an increase harmful bacteria. In this interview, Janell Goodwin, food safety expert with the USDA, offers some food safety tips for that summer barbeque.
