Pierz Pioneers vs Minnehaha Academy Redhawks Class AA State Championship

The Pioneers fall behind the defending Champion Redhawks 4-0 but rally to tie the game 4-4 on an rbi single by Brandon Dickman, an rbi double by Lane Girtz and a 2-run single from Luke Girtz. Minnehaha Academy gets a lucky bounce in the 7th and scores twice to grab a 6-4 lead. The Pioneers get the tying run to 2nd and the winning run to the plate in the bottom of the 7th, but the Pioneers fall just short in a 6-4 loss at Target Field.
