Utah’s largest airport isn’t concerned about the heat wave, even as other major airports in the west are forced to cancel flights

Last month American Airlines was forced to cancel dozens of flights in phoenix when it became too hot for small jets to take off. Now as Utah’s heat wave continues, the Salt Lake International Airport says each airline in Salt Lake City will also run through a list of protocols to make sure the airplane is safe to take off.
