Pierz defeated Albany 12-2 in 5 innings in the Winners Bracket game in Sauk Centre as both Noah Boser and Matt Kummet belted Homers. Boser drove in 5 runs, Kummet added 4 rbi's while Luke Girtz had a 2-run double and Alex Funk drove in another run with a squeeze bunt single. Matt Tautges threw the Complete Game Win as Pierz moved within 1 win of the District Championship.
