A recent incident in Pune, where people were duped by a conman posing an an official of the PMC, sent shockwaves through the establishment. An all-party meeting of elected representatives came to a conclusion that making PMC employees wear a uniform was the best way to prevent this from happening again.
That, and ID cards, of course. Duh!
