Up and down water year for Utah

If Utah's year in precipitation was written by Charles Dickens, it would have been the wettest of times and the driest of times. The Beehive State saw both extremes this year and National Weather Service Hydrologist Brian McInerney says any storms right now would help out with the next water year.
