A #reading #charity are hoping to double the number of volunteer reading assistants in #Kent and #Medway to help primary school children. The #ReadToAchieve voluntary recruitment drive is being launched by national charity Beanstalk, who provide schools with trained helpers. The one-to-one sessions use word games such as Scrabble and Hangman to help the pupils struggling the most. Kate Rumsby is from the charity.
