Pierz Pioneers vs Jordan Hubmen Class AAA Semifinals 2017

The Pioneers overpower the Hubmen 55-26 at US Bank Stadium to advance to the Prep Bowl, building a 34-6 lead at halftime behind a suffocating defense that recovered two Jordan fumbles on kickoffs and a Cohlton Boser interception. On offense, 8 different Pioneers carried the ball, amassing 222 rushing yards and getting touchdowns from Carson Huls, Reese Kapsner and 2 from Jalen Jansen as well as a 24 yard touchdown pass from Preston Rocheleau to Cohlton Boser. The Pioneers kept it rolling in the second half with another Reese Kapsner touchdown and two more from Alex Funk to finish off their dominating victory. The Pioneers will face the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders in the Prep Bowl in a rematch of last season's Semifinal game. Both teams will carry perfect 12-0 records into the game.
