The Manchester derby, miserable Madrid, alt-Ballon d'or and MLS Cup final preview
In this week's podcast, Ian McCourt is joined by the Onefootball newsroom's Dan Burke and André Gonçalves and there is so, so much to talk about.
They start off by previewing the biggest game of the Premier League season so far, the 175th Manchester derby. Dan wants to heap praise on Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph but there are questions (and worries) surrounding City's forward duo. United also have some worries of their own. Without Paul Pogba, how is José Mourinho going to set up his side? We also answer your questions about the big game.
With that done, it is time to move onto to the biggest (individual) prize in (the team sport) of football: the Ballon d'or. By now, we all know who is going to win but if he, or the only other two players who could win don't, who would be a worthy winner? Speaking of winning, that is not something Real Madrid have been doing a lot of lately. André breaks down why that is happening.
And there is more. Daniel Issroff phones in from New York to give us his previews ahead of Saturday's MLS Cup final between Toronto and Seattle. He also has his say on the whole ordeal with Columbus Crew.
