Connecticut state Sen. Len Suzio, R-Meriden, is not among those calling for the resignation of Department of Children and Families Commissioner Joette Katz. However, Sen. Suzio, co-chair of the legislature's Children's Committee, is very concerned, following a public hearing on Dec. 19 with Katz and other officials, into the death of 17-year-old Matthew Tirado, who had autism.
