Foley Power Quad 2nd Round of Duals

In the 2nd Round of the Foley Power Quad, powerhouses St. Michael-Albertville and Simley went toe-to-toe, with the marquee matchup pitting superstars Patrick McKee of STMA against Simley Jake Gliva in a 132 lb battle. After the dust settled, the scoreboard read 30-30 and after a deep look into the rulebook, Simley was awarded a 31-30 win based on the 8th tiebreaking criteria (most 1st points scored). On the neighboring mat, Bemidji slipped by Foley 34-30 after trailing the Falcons 24-15 after the 160 lb match. But the Lumberjacks won a Major Decision by Chance Hinrichs, a decision by Nic Geiger and then back-to-back Falls from Peter Moen and Hunter Schoenborn to seal the 34-30 win.
