Pierz Pioneers vs LPGE/Browerville Wolves Wrestling 2018

The Pioneers were able to field a full 14-man lineup for the first time in a Dual this season as they hosted the #8 ranked team in Class A, the Wolves of Long Prairie/Grey Eagle/Browerville.  On Alumni Night, the Pioneers trailed from the outset, with the largest margin of 23-9 after 8 matches. But the Pioneers slowly started to reel in the Wolves, with a Major Decision from Reese Kapsner to make it 23-13, a win by Jalen Jansen and it was 23-16, and after the Wolves won by Fall at 182 to bump their lead back to 29-16, Carson Huls and Luke Girtz won back-to-back Major Decisions to make it 29-24 going to Heavyweight.  And what a spot for Austin Dickmann to make his season debut!  Needing a Fall to secure the come from behind victory, Austin gave it his best shot, lost 5-3 in Sudden Victory Overtime and giving the Wolves a 32-24 Dual Meet win.
